Puppious Confusious

Yes, Trouble is homely, but cute! Here he is, freshly bathed and combed! That's as good as it gets!

Well, we started out with the paper training--and it seemed to be working part of the time, at least. So I thought I'd be clever and buy a box of 'wee wee pads' to use instead of the papers. They're like giganto pampers, without the folding parts. Anyhow, after a couple of trips to the pad, today the little darling has left puddles here and there, all over the living room! Lucky for me, I know that Borax poured on the spot will suck it right out of the carpet and make the whole thing disappear! I have also learned to NOT walk around in my sock feet! The lesson to be learned from this adventure is "never get a new puppy in the winter"! So much easier to house train if you can toss them outdoors to do their business....

Still no propane bottle delivery. But today's high temp outdoors was 57! That's what the temp was in the RV Friday and Saturday! Called this morning and told the answering machine that I'd really like to know what happened to my delivery last week. Eventually, the office girl called and told me this long song and dance about them only having one guy capable of setting a tank and he could only do 3 a day and he had orders from people who had called in weeks ago, blah, blah, blah. Like I believe that this little 2 horse county needs 3 tanks set ever day! So, now TOMORROW is my turn. Oh well. Things happen for a reason--turns out I had ordered the wrong size tank anyhow and would have gotten one the size of the one we used to have at our mobile home!

WaaaHooo! I now have pressurized water and a sewer drain! We went out to breakfast, then to Kmart, then Lowe's...and came home and Hubby hooked up the afore mentioned luxuries. It's also been warm enough out today that the heat pump could run, so it's even been comfortable indoors! Oh, and I washed a load of clothes in my little washer--which then spent the afternoon attempting to line-dry...and failed. Sunshine might have helped...
