Moving day

So, after patiently waiting for a month for his previous employer to actually call him back to work, Hubby has decided it's time to move on. We're off to our "Hill" in Illinois today. We're not sure that parking there is a good idea, but it's either there or in our son's driveway! Why is that? Well, this is the property that thieves treated like their own for several months a year ago. It worries us to think about leaving our home sitting there while we go visiting or shopping--but, whacha gonna do?

Anyhow, we'll make sure the theft insurance is paid up, and go park our house and reclaim OUR property. If and when Hubby gets a call from the Hall, he can take the truck/camper and stay on the job site to give our finances a chance to recover. We've been looking at jobs in NC and TX, if something doesn't turn up locally.

Keep your fingers crossed that the Verizon Wireless service is good enough for me to get back online when we get there.... We've used the cell phone there, so I'm hopeful!
